Kim Sung is an Associate specialising in construction and arbitration particularly in the area of infrastructure, energy and engineering disputes. His experience and exposure ranges from international and domestic arbitrations to statutory adjudication and civil litigation.
He regularly advises multinational clients in high-value disputes. His practice focuses on construction and energy disputes, acting for developers, contractors, subcontractors, and consultants. He has experience in matters involving delay and disruption, variations, termination, defective works, LAD, and performance bonds.
Beyond disputes, Kim Sung advises on project-related matters, including contract administration, risk management, and claims. He also regularly advises on standard form contracts such as PWD, PAM, AIAC, and FIDIC, and has experience drafting bespoke construction agreements tailored to clients' commercial needs.
Drawing on his tenure as President of the Moot Society during law school and his success in obtaining multiple awards for mooting both at the national and international competitions, Kim Sung now channels that experience into cultivating the next generation of advocates by dedicating time to judge and train them in advocacy.
