Overview
Jocelyn Phua holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of London and completed her Certificate in Legal Practice in 2018. She was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2019, and subsequently to the High Court of Sabah and Sarawak in 2020.
Her primary practice focuses on corporate and commercial litigation, practicularly in actions involving breach of directors' duties, contentious insolvency proceedings. She also has experience in a broad range of matters involving banking and finance, land disputes, LAD claims and intellectual property.
Jocelyn has also gained international exposure whilst working in an international law firm in Australia, where she assisted with estate planning and commercial leasing matters.
