Julian graduated from Queen's University Belfast, United Kingdom and he was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2022. Julian is fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.

Julian’s primary areas of practice focus on the energy and utility industries, construction and engineering projects. Julian has advised employers and contractors of all levels of the supply chain for construction and engineering projects in respect of dispute avoidance, dispute management, and resolution of disputes.

On the non-contentious front, Julian regularly drafts, reviews, and negotiates energy/ construction-related contracts and project documentation for various types of developments. He also advises clients on the suite of standard forms of contracts in use both locally and internationally, and bespoke contracts.
